Facts & Questions

How long has Able to Serve been serving in my community?

We have been serving the Triangle area for 5 years.  Able to Serve began in 2003 with a vision to give ALL individuals with disabilities the chance to engage in their community whether at their churches through worship and service or with their families in other local activities that connect friends and neighbors in fellowship and fun.

What does Able to Serve do in my community?

We have 4 main programs that cover the services that we provide in our local community.  We primarily serve Wake and Johnston counties in North Carolina with some services extended to surrounding counties when resources are available.

Our programs include a Local Ministry Network, Community Partnerships, Van Transportation Services, and Computer Learning/Donations.  Each one is listed under the PROGRAMS link on the left side of this web page.  Feel free to browse through each one to learn more!

How much does Able to Serve charge for their services?

Able to Serve provides each service and program at no charge to the individual or family receiving services.

How are Able to Serve programs and services funded?

All Able to Serve programs are made possible through the generosity of private donations from people just like you who believe in GIVING ABILITIES A CHANCE for our family member, friends, and neighbors with special needs.  We do not accept any state or federal money to serve our community.

To join our work serving EVERY ability in our community, donate to Able to Serve today!  You can donate online or by mail by following the instructions on our Donations page on this website.  Online donations are completely secured through Verisign.
