You can help adults with disabilities reach their full potential.

As we work to become the best-in-class day program for adults with disabilities in Wake and Johnson’s Counties, we ask for your help to upgrade our technology. We want to expand our impact on the participants we serve with updated computers, software, a high-quality printer, and other improvements to help our participants reach their full potential.

Help Us Provide the Best for Our Participants

Our year-end campaign will provide 20 new computers, vibrant color handouts, interactive software, and creative lessons so participants can learn in new and exciting ways. Watch some of the Able to Serve team members share about how this new technology will help participants in our program reach their full potential.

Our Technology Needs Include:

COMPUTERS

We are adding a new classroom soon which means that we will need 20 new computers (five per classroom) that will give participants access to updated technology.

PRINTER

Some of our participants require printed handouts, and a higher quality printer will help our teachers provide them with materials to allow them to fully engage in each lesson.

SOFTWARE

Our software helps participants grow through interactive lessons that help them learn in new and exciting ways. We need to add new licenses and renew existing ones.

How Technology Has Impacted Rebekah

When Rebekah initially started our program, we coached her on how to operate the computer & activities through our curriculum software. Now she can work independently & actively engage with the many online resources she has at her fingertips. Rebekah grows her problem-solving & decision-making skills daily through the equipment and programs our technology provides.

We promise to honor your generosity and use your donation in the most effective way possible. Each item included in this campaign is representative of a contribution toward the overall mission of Able to Serve. Donations will be used to equip adults with disabilities to be independent and connect them with opportunities to serve others in their community. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.
