Adults with disabilities come to Able to Serve knowing their purpose extends into their weekdays beyond their homes. Churches who partner with our faith-based nonprofit carry the Gospel message into this community throughout each week. We give participants not only a way to hear about Christ, but a way to live out their faith.
Our staff, volunteers, and church partners work alongside our participants to achieve their goals and fulfill their God-given purpose. Church partnership is a big part of our ministry and we invite you to serve alongside us through the following ways:
Individuals and groups from your congregation are encouraged to find ways to get involved with our Day Program! Promote Volunteer Opportunities within your congregation as an ongoing way for your congregation to serve. We also have ways for small groups, mission teams, youth groups, to serve for half or full day’s here in our day program. We will work with your group to determine how we can best equip your group to serve alongside our participants!
Allow us to expand your mission project by allowing our Participants to help with your church’s projects. We are always looking for ways to support & grow your missions efforts through preparing items for events, outreach projects, and more. We’d love to generate ideas on how we can serve you.
Become a church that we can provide information to for families of Special Needs who are looking for a Church home.
We’d also love to share our experience to equip your team with training & education to better serve families and individuals with special needs in your church. Our team has 20+ years of experience & would love to walk alongside you in developing your team to serve these incredible families in your church.
Do you have the gift of teaching? Local pastors, teachers and leaders are invited to provide a devotion each week, showing us through Scripture the simple message of God’s Good News.
This is a great way for Pastors to build relationships, teach God’s word, and share the gospel in a tangible way to adults with disabilities.
Need a Summer Service Opportunity? Volunteers are needed each summer to serve at our annual Bible Camp in July, sharing the gospel and serving alongside our participants through provided activities, meals, and relationship building.
Partner with us during our SERVE week in June, where we serve our community in a variety of projects, showing Christ’s love to the community around us. Does your church have a project that we can help with? Let us know!
