As we approach our 20th anniversary, we are moving forward with our goal to increase our capacity to serve 80 participants.

You can help us grow, reach more families, and serve more adults with disabilities so they can reach their full potential.

To meet the demands of our growth, we have added an overflow classroom three days a week. In the first quarter of 2023, we will launch this newly outfitted classroom to accommodate new participants five days a week.

Let's Move Forward!

We have seen steady growth in our enrollment, leading us to create an overflow classroom. We anticipate a 60% program increase in 2023 and must meet this ongoing need with a 4th permanent classroom.

Participant Spotlight: Patrick Rawls

“Able to Serve has been exactly the place that our family was looking for to benefit our son, Patrick. We were searching for a place for Patrick to be engaged and not be idle since aging out of the public school system. We want him to feel like he can contribute to our society and use his strengths to benefit himself, as well as others.

Patrick began when the Faith Group, that is being used as the overflow group, started in September. In just one short month, we have already seen a big difference in Patrick. He jumps out of bed every morning and is eager to get the day started and is ready to see his friends who he has already built relationships with.

Through the support of the community, Able to Serve gives him tools in which to help him build confidence and self-esteem. From community support like you, Able to Serve creates a place for families like us to know that our son/daughter can thrive, without worrying about costs that would prevent us from attending. I can honestly say that Patrick has found his place at Able to Serve.” — Annette Rawls
