Meet Corbin:
Joining Able To Serve in the summer of 2021, Corbin has become a shining example of growth, service, and joyful leadership. His friendliness and welcoming smile make an immediate impact. You’ll often see him proudly displaying his NC State Wolfpack gear or throwing up the famous Wolfpack sign.
Leading by Example
Corbin’s work ethic is one of his most remarkable qualities. He doesn’t wait to be asked. When there’s work to be done, Corbin is always the first to step up and lead by example. His initiative and dedication have earned him the respect of all at Able to Serve.
A Servant’s Heart
What truly sets Corbin apart is his passion for serving others. His parents, Jeff and Terry Phillips, shared their thoughts. “Corbin has loved his time with Able To Serve,” they said. “He has made many friends. Furthermore, he loves all the community activities they enjoy. Recently, he discovered a passion for service. He loves being a helper within the program.” He assists and serves his fellow participants through rotations, filming ATS News,, and with the computer running slides during Bible Camp. Consequently, he often talks about how he helps leaders and supports friends who may need extra help.
Corbin’s desire to serve extends beyond Able To Serve. Jeff and Terry also note his growth at home. They “continue to see his growth and maturity in sharing family activities.” This shows how the values and skills Corbin develops at ATS positively affect every area of his life.
