ATS 20th Anniversary Olympics

The best ways to celebrate all that we can do came together at the ATS 20th Anniversary Olympics hosted on our Able to Serve Campus.

On one of the most beautiful days this spring, we transformed our outdoor spaces into the ATS 20th Anniversary Olympics!  For months, our Participants stretched and trained to compete in this special event. They arrived as Athletes, ready to compete and support everything that each other can do.

Our event began with each Group arriving to applause from a full crowd of volunteers, families and friends.  After a devotion and salute to the American flag, we stretched before competing.  Our Program Instructor Chris transformed into “Servius”, leading us through the stretches and bring an authentic Olympic flare to the whole day!

Our sports included Walk Races, Run Races, Broad Jump and Softball Throw. Between events, we cheered each other on amidst volunteers, family and friends – all thrilled to see how much we have grown this season.

The Award Ceremony marked the biggest moment for competitor and crowd.  Each Athlete placed in at least 1 sport, beaming as our Volunteers and Staff placed earned ribbons and medals proudly on their shirts.

Our volunteers served a delicious hot dog lunch with all the fixings to refuel the crowd before we refreshed our muscles, dancing to tunes by our favorite band The Classics.

Our Lead Olympics Organizer Nick and staff would like to thank EVERY PERSON who came to this Olympic-sized event to celebrate with us!  Participants, Volunteers, Families and Friends – we all won an excellent day of fun together!
