Faith-Based Christmas Party Brings Joy to Adults with Disabilities

A Night to Remember: The 2025 ATS Christmas Party

There’s something magical about Christmas at Able to Serve. This year’s Christmas Party reminded us once again why this season holds such a special place in our hearts and in our community.

Celebration and Joy

The evening was filled with laughter, games, delicious food, and the unmistakable feeling of Christmas spirit throughout our gathering. Participants came together to celebrate the season, enjoy each other’s company, and create memories that will warm our hearts for months to come.

We’re incredibly grateful to Marti and Pavilion at Carriage Farm for generously providing the beautiful venue—which created the perfect setting for our celebration. The space allowed us to gather comfortably and truly enjoy the evening together.

From friendly competition during games to sharing a wonderful meal together, every moment reflected the joy and fellowship that makes our ATS community so special. A heartfelt thank you to the Wings group at Holland’s Church, who hosted and served a delicious Italian meal, dessert, and drinks. Their generosity and warm hospitality made the evening even more special.

A Light in the Darkness

The highlight of the evening perfectly captured our “Night of Light” theme. Our participants led everyone in a beautiful rendition of “Silent Night.” Each person held a tea light, creating a gentle glow throughout the room.

Those small flames represented something profound—the light inside each of us that Jesus helps kindle and keep burning. As voices joined together in song, the flickering lights reminded us that we’re all called to be bearers of His light in the world.

Why Christmas Matters at ATS

Christmas is more than just another celebration on our calendar. It’s a time when we gather to reflect on the greatest gift ever given—Jesus Christ, who came as a light in the darkness to show us we are loved, valued, and created with purpose.

At Able to Serve, we see that truth lived out every day. Each participant carries a unique light within them. Each person reflects God’s love in their own beautiful way. Christmas gives us a special opportunity to celebrate that truth together.

Gratitude for Our Community

Thank you to everyone who made this year’s Christmas Party such a memorable evening. To Marti and the Team at Pavilion at Carriage Farm and the Wings group for your incredible generosity, to our participants who led us in song with such heart, to our volunteers who helped create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and to our families who trust us with their loved ones—we’re grateful for each of you.

As we move through this Christmas season, may we all remember the lights we held that night. May we continue to let our light shine, reflecting the love of Christ to everyone we meet.

Merry Christmas from all of us at Able to Serve. Here’s to a season filled with light, love, and the joy of belonging to this incredible community.
